WANT TO KNOW MORE?

Here’s how this project came to be:

1. Joan Polasky, a long time lover of Menomonie Public Library, passed away in 2021. She gifted the library with a $77,000 annuity gift from her estate with wishes on how she wanted the money used.

2. Joan’s gift allowed the library to apply for (and receive…yay!) a $44,250 Vibrant Spaces Grant.

3. The Library Board of Directors hired Ayres Associates (Eau Claire, WI) to work with staff, community and the board to develop a proposed plan for the site.
