The daily news and images of climate change disasters and grim predictions for the future can be pretty discouraging. But it turns out that most of the conditions and experiences that have given us humans joy and meaning for the past 300,000 years or so may still be here for us if we work now to create that Best of All Possible Futures right here in our own communities.
