Teresa Adams will be leading the virtual yoga Zoom sessions. It is important in these stressful times for all of us to pause, quiet the mind, and be in the present moment. It not only benefits the body and mind but also improves performance and how we respond to life situations.
Spending even a few minutes in mind-body practice can reconnect you with a sense of calm and inner peace. Anyone can practice yoga. It’s simple, inexpensive, and doesn’t require any special equipment. You can bring mindfulness to any of your daily activities… out for a walk, waiting at the doctor’s office, or even in the middle of a difficult business meeting. Teresa Adams, is a mind-body practitioner, certified yoga and meditation teacher, and proprietor of Being Human Yoga.
- Yoga is on Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. starting September 8 through November 10.
No pre-registration required you can sign in to the yoga classes at the designated time. Subscribe to our calendar as a reminder. There is no charge, this program is free. Sponsored by the library, Mayo Clinic Health System and Being Human Yoga. Please join us.
Yoga provides great benefits, but only you know your own body and limits. Like any exercise, please consult your health care professional with any questions or concerns before starting any exercise program.
