The Library is pleased to host a special exhibit by the Over the Edge Quilt Guild.  In celebration of both National Quilt Week and National Library Week, the Library is hosting an exhibit of quilts made by members of Over the Edge Quilt Guild of Menomonie.  Quilts will be on display in the library throughout the month of April.  Each quilt was made with a specific book, or author in mind, such as Dr. Seuss, The Wizard of Oz, Agatha Christie, and Frozen.

In addition to the exhibit, Over the Edge Quilt Guild is offering a “bed turning” of the display quilts in the public room of the library on Saturday, April 8, at 10:30 and 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM.  A “bed turning” is a technique of displaying the quilts as they are layered on a bed or table with a narrator describing the quilt and the associated book or author.  There is no charge for this event and the public is invited.
