The 2nd annual Music Over Menomin Jr. kicks off June 11 at 6:00 p.m. on the library lawn with The Bazillions. Music Over Menomin Jr. is a series of performances for children and their families sponsored by the Library and Mayo Clinic. “The Bazillions are the creation of Twin Cities’ parents/educators/singer-songwriters Adam and Kristin Marshall. Literally from their first day on the job at Kenny School in Minneapolis, the couple was writing songs for and with their students. The Bazillions are all about music, learning, and fun! It’s kid-friendly rock-n-roll the whole family can enjoy. The Bazillions have two award-winning albums and an ever-growing repertoire of all-original songs, and a rich collection of animated educational music videos in the spirit of Schoolhouse Rock and classic Sesame Street. The group’s videos have received nearly 1.7 million YouTube views and are enjoyed by kids, parents, and teachers in homes and classrooms around the world.”
Music Over Menomin Jr. continues through July 2 with a total of four programs and is part of Library’s vibrant summer program for children and youth.
