Community members,

Like many of you, the Library Board of Trustees has been monitoring the news about the coronavirus (COVID 19).  We want to keep our staff, patrons, and community healthy and safe. The library is following guidance from the Dunn County Health Department and CDC concerning how to respond to the virus and what preventative measures we should implement.

At a special board meeting on March 17, 2020, the library board made the difficult decision to close the library until further notice effective at the end of business on March 17.  If you have library materials checked out your new due date is April 6.  Please feel free to keep your items until this time, however the outside book return will remain open. Staff will be answering the phone between 9 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday beginning Wednesday, March 18.

At this time, there is no confirmed case of COVID 19 in Dunn County but out of an abundance of caution, the library is taking this action. We hope that our efforts will help to keep it that way.

We will miss all of you, but until the day you can return, the library offers several digital collections such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and movie streaming. Check our website and catalog for those resources.  Be well and wash your hands!

Like many of you, library staff has been monitoring the news about COVID19 (coronavirus).  We want to keep our staff, patrons, and community healthy and safe.  The library is following guidance from the Dunn County Health Department and CDC concerning how to respond to the virus and what preventative measures we should implement.

At this time, there is no confirmed case of COVID19 in Dunn County but out of an abundance of caution, the library is taking the following steps:

  • Remove toys, play stations, games, puppets, and puzzles.
  • Remove selected public computers to create social distancing which has been shown to slow the spread of viruses.
  • Increase the level of cleaning and sanitizing of high use items and surfaces inside the building.
  • Continue to provide public use hand sanitizer and tissues at the public service desks.
  • Post additional prevention tips for the public.

The library will remain open during regular hours and programming will continue. The library offers several digital collections such as eBooks, eAudiobooks, eMagazines, and streaming film if you don’t want to visit.  Check our website and catalog for those resources. https://menomonielibrary.org  If you have questions you can call us at 715.232.2164.  Date issued 03/13/2020.
