Part II of our Knowing News program is a panel of western Wisconsin journalists discussing what it is like to work in today’s newsroom on October 18 at 7:00 p.m. in the UW Stout Student Center Ballroom A.  The Knowing News project, partially funded by a grant from the Wisconsin Center for the Book and the Wisconsin Humanities Council, is meant to educate us all to become more informed consumers of the news.   Members of the panel include:

  • Chris Ison, University of Minnesota School of Journalism and formerly Minneapolis Star Tribune newspaper

  • Barbara Lyon, Dunn County News

  • Facilitator Kate Edenborg, UW Stout Professor of Journalism and Mass Communication
