The Dunn County News digitization project the library undertook with Newspapers.com, a division of Ancestry.com, and Lee Enterprises, the publisher of the Dunn County News, is complete.  The archive from 1862-2014  is now available for searching at https://menomoniepubliclibrary.newspapers.com/welcome/?sso=inst:2369:footnote#silo=456

The archive is intended for in-library use only.  It can be accessed from any computer on the library’s network, including personal computers on our wi-fi.  This is a real game changer for those trying to do local research because full-text searching across the entire archive is now available. This makes it simpler to quickly find information about people and places in Menomonie and Dunn County in the historical record.
If you want to clip, share and save articles from the archive that is possible with a free account on Newspapers.com.  You can register for a free account here:  https://www.newspapers.com/register/
The Library will be closed Monday, May 27 in observance of Memorial Day
