Reserve a Computer

Internet Access

Access is available to all. The library has six computers available for 1 hour usage. In addition the library has two 15 minute computers for quick email/internet searching. Patrons must have a valid library card. There is a one hour sign-up time limit per individual per day. Because the computers are located in public locations, the patron is asked to refrain from viewing some images. Beginning July 1st 2002, all persons under the age of 18 who wish to use the internet will need to have a USER AGREEMENT FOR MINORS on file at the library. This requires the signature of a parent or guardian in the presence of a library staff member.

Free wireless internet access is available at the Menomonie Public Library.  You don't need a plug or phone jack, just turn on you notebook/laptop computer or other wireless device and start surfing.

Wireless Hotspot

You will need a notebook/laptop computer or other wireless device with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless networking.  If you are unsure if your computer or device has this functionality, please check with the manufacturer or supplier of your equipment.
