♦ Weekly prize drawings every Thursday morning starting June 20th
♦ Grand prizes drawn on August 4th

How to Participate

—Read adult books or listen to adult audiobooks of your own choosing. Our library booklists may help you find good books.
—Fill out a “Groundbreaking Reads @ Your Library!” book review form for each book you read or listen to and drop it in the box near the adult reference desk in the library.
—You can also send your review to us via an Information Request. Please complete the online form and put the following information in the question box: title of book, author, how many stars you rated the book (1-5), and your comments.
—Read (and submit forms for) at least 4 books by Wednesday July 31st  to qualify for the grand prizes.
—Please enter only adult library books read or heard this summer. The program is open to those 18 and older. First form submitted acts as program registration.


—Receive a “free book coupon” for the Friends Book Sale every time you submit 4 reviews
—Weekly prize winners will be drawn on Thursdays from the previous week’s entries. Weekly prizes are a gift card to a local business.
—Grand prizes will be drawn on August 4th.

Important dates

—First day you may turn in book review: Monday June 17th
—Last day you may turn in book review: Wednesday July 31st
—Grand Prize Drawing: Sunday August 4th

    The Duke Diaries by Sophia Nash

    A Regency Romance Novel about Dukes of England and some of their romantic escapades.
    Lady Verity wakes to find a Duke in her bed. An interesting tale of not wanting a wife and finding out that the Duke in question finds out he really does love the lady.

    Enjoyable light reading.

    A story about a military family and dealing with frequent abscences and how family members deal with it.

    Lavender Morning by Jude Deveraux

    About a young girl and her relationship with and elderly neighbor lady who befriends her when it seems no one understands her.

    I rate it 4 stars
