Starting January 8. This year we are reading local author Dr. David Eitrheim’s inspiring essays on living with cancer. The Race of My Life, co-authored with wife Amy Eitrheim, is a collection of David’s thoughts after he was diagnosed with an aggressive form of cancer.

The Menomonie Public Library is launching its latest effort to bridge the digital divide by offering mobile Wi-Fi hotspots for check-out. Any Library user 18 years of age or older with a valid Library card will be able to check-out a Wi-Fi hotspot at no cost to them.
You are your child’s first teacher and your home is where your child begins to learn. When you talk, sing, read, write, and play you are helping your child get ready to read. Children who are read to at an early age will be better prepared to learn.
