You are your child’s first teacher and your home is where your child begins to learn. When you talk, sing, read, write, and play you are helping your child get ready to read. Children who are read to at an early age will be better prepared to learn.
It is Our 30th
Our 30th anniversary on the banks of Lake Menomin. There has been a library in Menomonie since 1874 but we moved into our John Howe designed, Frank Lloyd Wright inspired, building with a view in 1986.
Wisconsin’s Digital Library is brought to you by the Wisconsin Public Library Consortium and is funded by the public libraries and public library systems in the state, with generous support from Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA) funds awarded to the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction by the Federal Institute of Museum and Library Services….and by donations from patrons like you!
